Kieran Mounce-McKinney

Kieran is nearing the end of their time in the chemistry program at Mount Royal. Kieran was very excited to have joined the team thanks to the FST student research assistantship. Their passion for chemical synthesis inspired them to pursue a career in developing novel compounds and materials.

In their free time, Kieran enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends, playing games with family, swimming, and reading fantasy novels.

Current project: Developing methodologies to generate ligands from pyrimidine containing natural products

Declyn Caouette

Declyn is a chemistry major at Mount Royal, and is currently in his fourth year, nearing the end of his program

He has been volunteering in the lab since receiving the FST student research assistantship, and is excited to continue assisting in research and learning all that he can in organometallics.

His hobbies outside of school work include playing games with friends, painting, and hiking.

Adam Meloche

Adam is in his fourth year of chemistry at MRU. He started volunteering in the lab at the start of the 2024 fall semester and has been enjoying it ever since. He is excited to continue volunteering and learning more about organometallic chemistry.

Outside of school, Adam enjoys watching sports and playing video games with his friends.
